QEarnP — Qearn Proposal

Purpose

To lock Qubic into Qearn for yield generation.

Required inputs

  • GitHub link
  • Amount to lock per epoch
  • Number of epochs

Lock characteristics

  • Total lock duration: 52 weeks
  • No early unlocking
  • Designed to average yield across multiple epochs

Voting & approval

  • Quorum required
  • Yes votes must exceed No votes

Execution outcome

If approved, the proposal becomes effective after one full epoch. For example, if approved at the end of epoch 200, it becomes effective at the start of epoch 202.

Provided sufficient funds are available according to fund allocation priority:

  • Funds are locked progressively as defined
  • After 52 weeks:
    • Locked principal is returned to the reinvestment fund
    • Rewards are distributed as dividends

Multiple approved proposals of this type may coexist and be effective at the same time, provided sufficient funds are available.
